Artwork of Suze Woolf Until Early-September
The tasting room features works from local artists. The art is rotated periodically throughout the year.

We are currently featuring the works of Suze Woolf.
It was Wallace Stegner who originally called the national parks our best idea: "National parks are the best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst."
I've spent a lot of time all over the West exploring their landscapes. Besides my sheer joy at being in the midst of such visual feasts, the way I learn a place is by painting it. I've been Artist-in-Residence in a number of parks: North Cascades, Glacier, Zion, Grand Canyon, Capitol Reef. I've also been an art colony resident in Banff, AB (between three Canadian national parks), at Willowtail Springs, CO (next to Mesa Verde), the Vermont Studio Center and the Jentel Foundation WY. Each time I fall in love with a new landscape.
I've watched many changes in our own Washington parks - glaciers shrinking and burned-over areas increasing. At first I painted the whole landscapes that included those disturbing changes. Then I focused in on the miniature carved-out landscapes found in the charred textures of individual burned trees.

Roving Cheese Shop September 21st, 1-5pm
"Let's face it I love cheese! I love to eat it. I love to talk about it. Most of all, I love the look on peoples faces when they taste an amazing cheese. You know what I mean - your eye's close, a smile spreads across your face and totally right there, in the moment experiencing the magic of cheese. Listening to the story it tells you of the pasture the animals were feeding in, the farmer who milked them, the care of the cheesemakers and secret action of the cultures."
I bring the Roving Cheese Shop out to shops with an ever-changing selection of cheeses based on the season and what's inspiring me at the moment." Alison Leber
